DaycareLogix vs Kangarootime
Multi-site dashboards, but the food program still lives somewhere else?
Kangarootime is built for owners of several sites: real-time dashboards across locations, strong billing and subsidy handling, and a training LMS. Pricing is quote-only and reported to scale with enrollment; its own materials describe 2–3% card convenience fees. Meals are tracked in daily logs, but there is no marketed CACFP claim engine or menu compliance. DaycareLogix builds the claim in-product, isolates each facility with its own roles, and publishes every price.

Card payments carry a 2–3% convenience fee per the vendor's materials; can be passed to families.
AI features, the training LMS and enterprise analytics are add-ons.
Kangarootime publishes no price list; the enrollment-based scaling and card fees are as described in the vendor's materials and third-party listings in 2026. Kangarootime is a trademark of its owner; no affiliation or endorsement. A dash means the feature is not in the vendor’s published materials; a short note means it is there with a condition. Our prices: Compliance $29/mo (claims & compliance), Starter $49/mo (the whole program) — every price is published.

Moving from Kangarootime
The roster imports from a spreadsheet, so an export from Kangarootime is enough to start: each child, their room, a guardian and any allergies come across in one pass, with every row checked before it is committed. Staff are invited by email. Attendance and meal counts begin on the day you switch. If you would rather we load it, reply to any email from us with the file attached and we do it the same day. Nothing is deleted on our side if you decide not to stay: a lapsed trial goes read-only.
