DaycareLogix vs Procare
A core suite, a parent-app add-on, and a separate bill for implementation?
Procare has run centers for thirty years and its agency and subsidy billing is the deepest in the category. Pricing is by quote — small centers commonly land at $85–150 a month once the parent-engagement add-on is included — and implementation, data migration and training are billed on top. Its meal tracker counts meals and exports data for the claim forms. DaycareLogix builds the monthly claim itself, checks it before filing, and has no setup or implementation fee.

Procare publishes one price (the in-home plan); other tiers are quote-based and the range shown is as reported by third-party listings in 2026. Procare is a trademark of its owner; no affiliation or endorsement. A dash means the feature is not in the vendor’s published materials; a short note means it is there with a condition. Our prices: Compliance $29/mo (claims & compliance), Starter $49/mo (the whole program) — every price is published.
Who Procare is the better fit for
Centers with heavy agency or subsidy billing across several payers, and multi-decade Procare shops with a large report library they rely on.
Who DaycareLogix is the better fit for
Centers that want the CACFP claim built in-product from the same records, one published monthly price with nothing billed for setup, and the same record for an adult day program if they run one.
Moving from Procare
The roster imports from a spreadsheet, so an export from Procare is enough to start: each child, their room, a guardian and any allergies come across in one pass, with every row checked before it is committed. Staff are invited by email. Attendance and meal counts begin on the day you switch. If you would rather we load it, reply to any email from us with the file attached and we do it the same day. Nothing is deleted on our side if you decide not to stay: a lapsed trial goes read-only.
